My most frequently asked questions from brides and grooms

General

How far in advance do I need to book with you?
As soon as you have your date set, the better. That way, you can reserve you date with me and I will be 100% available to you on your wedding day.

 

How would you describe your photography style? 

I am a fine art wedding photographer. That means I aim to capture photos that are intended to be appreciated as visual art. It is more of a classic style with bold and bright colors. You will be able to look back on your wedding photos years down the road and still appreciate the quality.
 

How would you describe your working style?

I am a lot of fun to work. I am open minded to your requests, but have a lot of creative ideas up my sleeve and will do whatever it takes to get the shot! I LOVE to make my couples laugh. Your pictures are so much better with a genuine smile :)

Will you be the only one photographing our wedding? Or will you need an assistant or second shooter? How will you be dressed? 
That really just depends on what Wedding Collection you choose. If you choose to have a second photographer, then they will be there. It is always a good idea to have one. They are able to capture things at different angles!  We always dress in dark colors. Our goal is to blend in and not stick out!

Are you open to us providing a wedding photography checklist with our must-have shots?

If there is a shot you must have, I will go out of my way to provide it for you. However, one of my favorite things as a wedding photographer is to have full creative control! I do ask my couples to come up with a family shot list. This way , when it comes time to do family formals we do not leave anyone out.

Are you a member of any professional associations or do you have any professional training in your field?
I am a proud member of  Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I frequently attend seminars and workshops to improve and learn new skills as a wedding photographer!

Do you travel?

Although I am primarily an Atlanta wedding photographer ( and surrounding areas, my base location being Newnan), I LOVE to travel, I will photograph wherever I am needed. There will be a travel fee for any wedding located 100 miles outside from my home base.

Contract And Policy Questions 

When will I receive the written contract?
All of my contracting is done virtually. You will be able to sign and pay your retainer all online. You will have the option to print a hard copy as well. You will receive your contract whenever you tell me you are ready to book!

 

What is the retainer amount? 
Retainers are 25% of the total Wedding Collection price. They are non-refundable, but they do go towards your balance!

Do you offer a payment plan?
The final balance is due 1 month before the wedding. If you would like to set-up a monthly payment plan before hand, we can certainly do that!

What is your overtime policy? How much do you charge if my event goes over?
Any hours exceeding your coverage will be charged at $200/hr (plus an additional  $40/hr if you choose to have the second photographer stay as well).

Do you have insurance?
Yes, I am insured!

 

Package, Proof And Print Questions

Can I customize a wedding collection if need be?

Absolutely! I do my best to accommodate my clients. If there is something specific you want, or do not want I can certainly customize something to meet your needs. I am always willing to work with budgets as well!

Do you offer engagement photos in any of your collections?

Yes, all of my collections do come with a complimentary engagement session!

How many photos will you take?
I usually guarantee 100 images per hour

Do you provide any retouching or corrective services?

All of your images will be color corrected, cropped, and straightened. Additional editing service may require a fee.

How long after the event will the proofs be available? Will they be view-able online, on a CD, a thumb drive?

You will have access to an online gallery for 90 days. You will also receive all of your professionally edited images on a thumb drive.

Will the digital images be high resolution?

All of my images are delivered at 300 ppi and are 6000 pixels wide

When will I receive my wedding pictures?

Your final wedding gallery will be delivered to you no later than 8 weeks.

Do you offer any discounts?
I do offer discounts for weekday and Sunday weddings. I occasionally have a promotional discount on social media or if you meet me at a Bridal Show!

 

What are your prices? 

Engagement Sessions | $300 - Included with wedding collections

Wedding Collections| $1,800 - $3500
Senior Sessions | $250 and up
